Individual Counseling

Our teletherapy practice utilizes reality-based, solution-focused therapy to help you identify, and navigate through any choices you want to make in order to strengthen and gain confidence in yourself, your relationships, and/or your family. Together we can identify and set realistic, attainable life goals that can enhance your life and your relationships.

Marriage & Couple Counseling

If you’re struggling in your marriage or committed relationship, it’s not a sign that there’s trouble. It can just be a sign that you need to take stock of what you have accomplished together and refocus on your commitment before you call it quits.  Sometimes you may need a little help rebuilding and maintaining the healthy, productive, and meaningful relationship you had before the challenges of life got in the way.

Family Counseling

Families can be torn apart by relationships within the marriage, within sibling groups, and between parents and children. Family counseling can help the healing process by addressing difficult emotions of anger and hurt in an environment of emotional safety. Family counseling can benefit all members of the family by helping them learn new communication, relationship, and coping skills.

What to Expect at Your First Session

Whether you are new to counseling or re-engaging in therapy again, we strive to create a relaxed, compassionate, and supportive environment where you will not be judged; you will be respected. Your concerns and feelings will be heard, your privacy protected, and your questions answered.

Ideally, I would like to have an initial phone consultation with you, where you can ask me any questions you may have, get to know one another and you can decide if you think together, we can meet your counseling goals. Before our first teletherapy session, I would like to send you some forms and paperwork to complete such as medical, family history, and insurance forms.

I keep all of your family and medical information that you provide in the forms and during our discussions private. I do not and will not share your information with anyone. Once we’ve taken care of the intake paperwork and discussed confidentiality we can begin to focus together on your feelings, concerns,  goals for counseling, and your future.

Scheduling an Appointment

There are two ways to schedule an appointment. You can contact me by phone. Please note that I am in sessions throughout the day, so it may be necessary to leave me a voicemail with your name and number. My policy is that I will return all calls within 24 hours from the time the call
was placed (excluding weekends, holidays, and vacations). You may also send me an e-mail through the form on the home page or directly to my e-mail with your name and number, requesting an appointment and I will call you at the number specified. The same 24-hour policy applies to emails.
